About the job
Greenwood Brewing is hiring full-time and/or part-time Bartenders. We are located in the Roosevelt Row district of downtown Phoenix. Both of these positions will report to the Taproom Lead Team and Owner. The position will require flexible hours and the ability to work weekends.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
All tasks related to the on-premise sale of beer
Managing the culture of Greenwood taproom and Beer Gardens
Providing an exemplary experience for Greenwood customers
Ensuring our customers are experiencing the identity of Greenwood and our Brand Pillars: Inclusivity, Empowerment, and Confidence
Pouring tasty beer and explaining the delight of beer to all people who walk in the door Maintaining a clean and safe space for customers and team members
Providing tours and hosting events
When necessary, picking up brewery operations when additional help is needed
Regularly connecting with team and President of Greenwood
Cleaning, preparation, inventory management, planning, all while providing excellent customer service!
Qualities of our candidate:
Is hardworking and passionate about craft beer
Must be able to lift 55 lbs and move 165 lbs
Can handle the physical demands of brewery labor: standing, squatting, walking, carrying, lifting, seeing and listening
Can work safely with hazardous chemicals
Can work in wet and sometimes hot environments
Is adaptable and willing to help when needed
Strong mechanical and problem-solving aptitude is a bonus
The ability to work unsupervised and manage own time and the time of others effectively Highly attentive to detail and is able to effectively multi-task
Is willing to learn and continually strives to increase brewing knowledge
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
