Greenwood Brewing is a woman-owned microbrewery in the heart of Downtown Phoenix. We believe in the power of beer to start conversations and build community. Our brewery and beer garden host a variety of events—from live music and private gatherings to community markets and beer releases—all designed to bring people together.
We’re looking for an Events Coordinator to join our team and help create unforgettable experiences for our guests. This role is ideal for someone who loves event planning, thrives on organization, and enjoys being part of a creative, community-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

    • Plan, schedule, and oversee brewery-hosted events, private bookings, and special activations.
    • Help plan and execute three major annual events and monthly brewery events during our peak season.
    • Manage client communications and contracts, with an eye for upselling and enhancing the guest experience.
    • Be onsite (or delegate support) for day-of event coordination, ensuring smooth operations with the taproom team.
    • Maintain and update the Master Event Calendar and Airtable event system to avoid conflicts and keep programming consistent.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events across digital and in-person channels.
    • Track event expenses and revenue, ensuring profitability.
    • Represent Greenwood Brewing at festivals, tastings, and community activations.

Requirements

    • Experience in event planning, coordination, or hospitality.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
    • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
    • Professionalism and composure in fast-paced or high-energy environments.
    • Self-starter with a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset.
    • Passion for craft beer and creating memorable community experiences.

Schedule

    • Approximately 8 hours per week.
    • Expected to work from the taproom 2 hours per day, 4 days per week (Monday–Friday).
      • Preferred schedule: Tuesday–Thursday, 4–6 PM (flexible based on candidate).
    • Remote work flexibility available for planning and administrative tasks (based on an agreed schedule).

Compensation & Growth

    • $700/month base pay
    • Commission on private events booked
    • Additional day-of coordinator pay for major events
    • Discounted beer and Greenwood Brewing apparel
    • Hybrid flexibility (brewery + remote)
    • Opportunity for growth into a part-time or full-time role as Greenwood Brewing’s events program expands.
