The Senior / Full-Time Bartender is a hands-on, guest-facing role at Greenwood Brewing — focused on delivering an exceptional experience while helping bring consistency and flow to the taproom.
This role is primarily behind the bar and on the floor, engaging with guests, serving beer, and ensuring the space runs smoothly. You’ll also take on a slightly elevated level of responsibility compared to part-time bartenders — helping guide shifts, support teammates, and maintain Greenwood’s standards day-to-day.
You are not expected to manage the business — but you are someone we can rely on to own your shift and elevate the experience around you.

What You’ll Do
Guest Experience & Service (Primary Focus)
- Bartend and serve guests with a high level of hospitality and energy
- Move throughout the space — bar, tables, and patio — ensuring all guests are taken care of
- Create a welcoming, elevated, and memorable Greenwood experience
- Educate guests on beer, merch, and offerings in a natural, engaging way
Shift Ownership
- Act as a go-to person on shift when needed
- Help keep service flowing smoothly during busy periods
- Support teammates and step in wherever needed (bar, floor, glassware, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall taproom presentation
Team Support
- Lead by example in work ethic, hospitality, and accountability
- Help newer team members learn standards and expectations
- Communicate clearly and flag issues when needed
Taproom Support
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Help monitor inventory levels (beer, merch, supplies)
- Support daily operational tasks like restocking, keg changes, and POS updates
Sales & Guest Engagement
- Support taproom sales through strong product knowledge and upselling
- Create moments that drive repeat visits and guest loyalty
- Contribute to the energy and success of events, releases, and busy weekends
Qualifications
2+ years hospitality experience (bartending strongly preferred)
Strong communication and team-oriented mindset
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, move kegs, and perform physical FOH tasks
Passion for craft beer and Greenwood’s mission
Availability on weekends and peak taproom hours
Compensation
Full tip share while bartending
Estimated Annual Pay: $60,000 based on tipped shifts
