Teaspressa X Greenwood Brewing

It’s been five years since we opened Greenwood Brewing and I’m SO excited to announce that we are finally launching our very first collaboration brew! It’s with great joy that I can announce that our first collab is with Allison DeVane and her business: Teaspressa. Announcing, the GreenTea Kölsch.

Teaspressa is another incredible woman-owned business from Phoenix, AZ; they make beautiful products and have been featured in Vogue, Forbes, Oprah (to name a few) and have even been on Shark Tank! This collaboration has been in the making for years and I’m beyond excited to be launching it now, just in time for Mother’s Day!

Allison and I first met in 2019 when the Arizona Republic did a feature on our businesses on the front page of the Food and Dining section of the paper. The article had a huge photo of us and a feature of Women-Business owners in Downtown Phoenix. It was my first newspaper article, and I was very proud that I had even been selected — so proud that I bought 25 copies of the paper when it was published!

I remember Allison had recently been on Shark Tank and I was in awe to be featured in an article with this woman who was famous. It’s been since then that Allison and I have stayed connected with “one day” in the back of our minds to collaborate.  

Well that time is now, baby.  

I cannot express how excited I am for this beer: GreenTea Kölsch. A refreshing, crisp Greenwood Brewing Kölsch delicately infused with Teaspressa’s Green Gold tea and rose petals with a touch of lemon. This limited edition beer is sure to delight your taste buds, and offer a memorable drinking ~experience~.  

Along with Greenwood’s Head Brewer Kristin, Allison herself came to brew this beer and give it all the positive vibes. Together we worked to incorporate Teaspressa tea and flowers into the batch (see photos from this brew day below!). The result is a delicious and unique beer that is a testament to the versatility of Teaspressa’s green tea and rose, and the beauty of the Greenwood Kölsch and its ability to take on these delicate flavors. 

We are launching this collaboration brew just in time for Mother’s Day weekend (so get some for all the mamas!). Greenwood will have bottles for sale in the taproom and we’ll be throwing a party, having giveaways, and celebrating with other fun goodies all weekend!

To make the GreenTea Kölsch even more special, we will be garnishing it with Allison’s rose petals and rose sugar cubes to each glass, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to your drinking experience. Mamas, we’re celebrating you with this beer!  

We’ve only brewed a small amount of this, and we will only be serving the “GreenTea Rose Radler” with Teaspressa rose petals and sugar cubes for the week of Mother’s Day, so you’ll want to mark your calendars to try this beer before May 15th.
